The primary goal of the session is how to use consensus decision-making\, a cooperative\, non-coercive form of decision-making in the setting of Jewish institutions and organizations. \nThis session with be the perfect mix of theory and practice. It will be interactive and draw upon the experiences of the participants and practitioners in the field. By the completion of this workshop\, participants will know about how to use consensus decision-making and action steps toward its implementation in their home setting. \nSome of the issues we will tackle include group dynamics\, especially in Jewish settings\, trust and respect\, unity of purpose\, self-empowerment\, patience\, commitment\, majority rule and competition\, cooperation and formal consensus.
